About

I'm Natasha! A Corporate Real Estate Lead by day and mother of a growing crew by night (morning, dawn and every hour in between).

I finished my MBA while working full-time and starting my family. I feel like I have said this sentence a lot recently partly because I am amazed I made it through that stage, but also the messages I have received after my commencement speech asking how. Somewhere during that time I also switched careers, kept climbing and LITERALLY never stopped moving. My best friend described it well, "You never turn off."

Working Mom, Wandering Mind is where I write about the three things that actually make up my life within motherhood. These areas are far from separate because sometimes in this stage of life everything blends together.

Career. The real version. Negotiating and leading while starting over in a new role. Figuring out what "having it together" actually means when nobody's watching. I've been building and learning for over 15 years and will continue to do so.

Travel. I've always had a wandering spirit and exploring makes me feel alive and connected to myself. The logistics have changed but it's still happening. I'll show how I actually plan and pull off trips with young kids in tow, from long-haul flights to itineraries to tire out any toddler. Not just the cute Instagram pictures but what goes into it if you dare to try as well.

Learning. Books, ideas, habits and just what helps me be more efficient but also helps me grow. Sticking to learning no matter the area or subject is something I treat as a non-negotiable for me so I can feel progress, even if it is the most random fact.

I promise I don't have it figured out. I promise even more that I DO NOT HAVE IT TOGETHER. I have systems, schedules, spreadsheets and the most stubborn refusal to choose between ambition and being a present fun mom. I am writing this for anyone else trying to do the same without losing their mind. I am responding to those of you who have asked me how.

Absolutely no filter. Just the real route.
